
In a significant boost to modern road connectivity in Goa, Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways, Shri Nitin Gadkari, dedicated a 6-lane access-controlled road with elevated viaducts from Manohar International Airport to Dhargal on NH-166S. This project aims to streamline traffic and enhance transportation efficiency in the region.
During the inauguration, Nitin Gadkari also announced the construction of a 45 km long bypass from Wadgaon to the Karnataka border at a cost of ₹3500 crore.
Additionally, the minister revealed plans for the 4-laning of the Panaji-Belagavi section of NH-748, a 52 km stretch that will be developed at an estimated cost of ₹4000 crore.
