Shindolli village in Belagavi taluk witnessed a tragic incident where a woman lost her life while trying to escape from burglars.
The victim, identified as Bharamakka Pujari, attempted to flee when a group of thieves broke into her house late on the night of September 25. In her desperate attempt to evade the intruders, she ran out of the back door, but in the panic, she fell into a nearby ditch.
Local residents discovered her body and alerted the authorities. The Marihal police quickly arrived at the scene and conducted an investigation. Pujari’s body has since been sent to BIMS Hospital for further examination.
