JAGADISH SHETTAR of the BJP won the Belagavi Parliamentary constituency by a whopping margin of 175574 votes.
Even the poll pundits were surprised at this margin of votes.
In percentage terms Shettar received 55% of the total votes polled followed by Mrinal Hebblakar of the Congress who got 42.24% Votes and the third spot was Mahadev Patil of MES received 9425 votes thats 0.69%.
Nota received 0.41% votes.
