Their venture, Altrun Labs, was chosen to represent Karnataka at the prestigious SelectUSA Investment Summit.
Held from June 23 to June 26, 2024, at National Harbor, Maryland, USA, the SelectUSA Investment Summit is a premier platform organized by the U.S. Department of Commerce to facilitate foreign direct investment in the United States. The event connects startups and businesses with international leaders to discuss and address global issues.
Altrun Labs, a pioneering startup specializing in safety wearables, was selected from among applications from 80 countries. The company’s patent-granted product received high praise from Gina Raimondo, Secretary of the U.S. Department of Commerce, and the Governor of Rhode Island, for its potential impact and relevance in today’s safety-conscious market.
Nandita Yenagi was notably selected for the Select Global Women in Tech Mentorship program, a prestigious honor that chose only 115 startups worldwide. This one-year mentorship aims to support and propel female entrepreneurs in technology.
