In accordance with Section 34 (M) of the Disaster Management Act, 2005, the DC Belagavi, Mohammad Roshan has declared a precautionary measure for all government, aided, and unaided primary and high schools, Anganwadis, and pre-graduation institutions (up to 12th standard) in across Belagavi and Khanapur taluks of Belagavi district from July 22, 2024, to July 23, 2024.
The Deputy Director of the Public Education Department, Belgaum, the Deputy Director of the Undergraduate Education Department, Belgaum, and the Deputy Director of the Women and Child Welfare Department, Belgaum, are required to adhere to this order and make necessary adjustments to the holiday period in the upcoming days.
This decision has been made under the guidance of the District Collector and the Director of the District Disaster Management Authority, Belagavi District, Belgaum.
